A native of Washington, DC, Mike Washington has been making people laugh since grade school. His technique is original and his ability to take everyday events like friends and family situations, marriage, child rearing, animals, and music; then turn them into side-splitting humor, is the mark of a gifted and “rare” professional. Mike is able to find a funny side to just about anything.

Mike Washington is a unique comic that takes full charge of his audience. His quick-wit captivates his listeners and prompts full attention to his performances. Mike is an amusing entertainer who transports his audiences to various dimensions of comedy throughout his show. Mike was the featured comedian for the Marvin Sapp and James Fortune show held at the National Church of God on July 23, 2010. He was in the December 2009 issue of the popular magazine Sister-2-Sister. This issue speaks about “The Gospel Godmother of Gospel Music” Vicki Mack Lataillade and her new television variety show “Soulaughable.” The comedy hour is hosted by funnyman Flex Alexander and Mike is a featured comedian. Mike has toured all over the country with “The Incomparable” Sheryl Underwood for years in clubs such as The IMPROV. He also has toured with other accomplished comedians such as Steve Harvey Dave Chappelle, and Marcus Wiley in major venues.

His TV credits include his performances on “ Soulaughable” featured on The Word Network., “ShowTime at the Apollo” and “BET Comic View”. Mike Washington has been invited to entertain at prestigious affairs such as the “BET 15th Anniversary Show”, “Comic Relief”, various churches, military installations, and at a host of major colleges and universities.
